Record number of students apply to WWU

More students are applying to Western Washington University than ever before, according to the university.

Western received 9,802 freshman applications by the Jan. 31 deadline for fall 2015 enrollment, exceeding last year’s applications by more than 500. There are about 2,800 freshman slots available.
