Recognizing outstanding coach of 28 years

Pee Wee Halsell is on his 28th year at Western as head coach for the men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field and cross country teams. Halsell is highly regarded for his success as a coach, and has been named coach of the year at the league, district, region and Great Northwest Athletic Conference level multiple times during his years at Western.
