Police to enforce crosswalks on Samish Way in Bellingham

The city is raising awareness of new, lighted crosswalks on Samish Way with extra police patrols on Friday, April 26.

The additional traffic officers will look for speeders and drivers who don't yield to pedestrians in the crosswalks, which were installed earlier this year at Abbott and Consolidation streets.
