Police searching for robber who pulled knife in Sehome Village parking lot

A man cut another man with a small knife and stole his money near the Haggen store in Sehome Village on Thursday night, Sept. 24, according to police.

The two men engaged in a struggle over money in the victim’s car, which was parked in a lot at 200 36th St. around 7:30 p.m. The suspect took out a knife, described as a small pocketknife, and cut the victim’s hands before taking off with the money, said Bellingham Police Sgt. Claudia Murphy.
