Police arrest more than 100 this month during Bellingham 'party patrol'

Police said Tuesday, Oct. 26, that they have made 120 arrests over the past three weeks in a combined "party patrol" effort to curb loud and disorderly parties in residential areas of Bellingham.

Of the arrested, 53 were for minor in possession of alcohol, 53 for disorderly conduct, three for furnishing alcohol to minors, eight for drinking alcohol in public, one for driving under the influence of intoxicants, and two for obstructing a police officer.

The arrests were made after officers were called in response to several neighborhood noise complaints.
