Peacocke scores 41 in WWU win over Simon Fraser

Western Washington University senior guard Taylor Peacocke scored a career-high 41 points, one off the school record, to lead the No. 17 Vikings to a 84-72 victory over No. 21 Simon Fraser Tuesday evening in Great Northwest Athletic Conference action at West Gym.

The Vikings (14-3, 8-1) extended their winning streak to 8 consecutive games while gaining sole possession of second place in the GNAC. Simon Fraser had their 8-game winning streak snapped to fall to 16-3 overall and 7-2 in league play. It was the Clan’s first home loss of the season after opening the season 7-0 in Burnaby.
