Passionate dancer Rosemary Fletcher, who founded FSCJ program, dead at 60

Rosemary Fletcher, a passionate dancer and teacher who founded the dance program at Florida State College at Jacksonville, died this week after a four-year battle with cancer. She was 60.
In recent weeks, as news spread that her health was failing, emails poured in from former students, said Mrs. Fletcher’s friend Dana Carpenter.
“I can’t tell you the number of kids who said she changed their lives,” Carpenter said. “She really took the time to care about students individually and helped them build their lives.”
