Parents of son who died on WWU campus start counseling fund

The parents of a Western Washington University freshman who jumped to his death on campus this spring have set up an endowment for counseling at the school.

Jerry Crossan and Susan Flores donated $25,000 to start the Timothy Crossan Memorial Fund to enhance counseling services for students in need of emotional and mental health support. Their son, Timothy Crossan, 19, died April 16 after jumping from the roof of the Nash Hall dormitory.
