Major WWU remodel of Carver not funded in state budget

A large remodeling project at Western Washington University did not receive funding in this year's state budget.

Western Washington University proposed a major remodel of Carver Gymnasium. Totaling $69.3 million, the proposed renovation would have added more classrooms and lab spaces, as well as provided seismic upgrades.
