Local sailors represent Bellingham at US Sailing Junior Nationals

After winning the Sears Junior Sailing Championship Qualifier in Seattle, Jeffrey Werner and Liam Hood knew they were in for tough competition at the U.S. Junior Championships in Traverse City, Mich.

After all, some of their competitors were slated to sail in the Junior National Olympics.
