Local Inventor Releases New Product

A local inventor has released a product that many drivers might find useful on a dark, cold and frosty morning.

Jeff Latham of Sumas recently made the Icy Light, an ice scraper with a detachable flashlight, allowing users to see in the dark when they’re clearing ice and snow from vehicle windshields and windows.

Latham says he invented the icy light over a six year process, starting with help from Western Washington University’s Small Business Development Center.
