It takes a creative community to make a film about the Mount Baker Marathon

A hundred years ago, it took grit and perhaps a touch of craziness for a small group of loggers, mill workers and other local men to race up gnarly trails at night and dangerous snowfields at the break of day to reach the summit of Mount Baker, then run back down the mountain to catch a train or automobile ride to the finish line in Bellingham - all for a bit of glory and maybe a winner's check.
