Industrial design expertise lands Longview man on Travel Channel

Tavis Highlander’s artwork in hot rod magazines is taking a side trip to the small screen on the new Travel Channel series “Rock My RV.”

Highlander (his first name is pronounced TAY-vis), is a native of Sequim, Wash., who moved to Longview in 2007 after graduating at the top of his class from Western Washington University with a bachelor of science degree in industrial design. He was featured in The Daily News on May 16, 2010 after his automotive illustrations began appearing in national magazines, ads and movies. He owns Highlander Concept Rendering.
