In the Middle with You: Event highlights experiences with accepting body image

Adrienne D’Alo was on her high school swim team for four years with about 90 other girls. Most of their time together was spent in swimsuits and most talk revolved around body image. Every practice D’Alo and others on the swim team would talk about what they wished their bodies looked like.
“Everyone would compare themselves to others saying, ‘I wish I looked like that or that my body didn’t have this,’” D’Alo said.
