Impero signs scholarship to play for WWU

Men's basketball guard Kyle Impero, who was the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges Northern Region Most Valuable Player at Whatcom Community College last season, has accepted a scholarship offer to compete at Western Washington University beginning this fall. Making that announcement Thursday was Vikings' head coach Tony Dominguez.

"We are very excited to have Kyle back in the program," Dominguez said in a news release. "He has proven to be an outstanding player and we believe he fits our style of play tremendously. Kyle is so versatile and can play numerous positions and with his ability to score and rebound he gives us a threat we need to be successful."
