Gas prices reach $4 per gallon in Bellingham; when will it top off?

Gasoline prices rose to an average of more than $4 a gallon in Bellingham Tuesday, April 12 - about 85 cents more than a year ago.

"It's outrageous," said Western Washington University student Sam Cho, who paid $4.07 per gallon for regular unleaded at the Starvin' Sam's on 12th Street.

The price for gas has been steadily rising since mid-February, but analysts say the increases should stop by the end of May.
