Flores hits two homers as WWU softball cruises

Western Washington University third baseman Amanda Flores tied a school record with two home runs as Vikings set a school mark with 32 total bases in a 17-7 win over Black Hills State University on Friday at the Montana State Billings Desert Stinger Softball Tournament in Las Vegas.

The Vikings, who lost 10-5 to Cal State Dominguez Hills (4-2) earlier in the day, are 4-2. Against BHSU, they scored four runs in the top of the second inning, one in the fourth and six each in the sixth and seventh.
