Everett deputy police chief graduates from FBI academy

Deputy Police Chief Dan Templeman recently graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.

Templeman joins at least five other officers among the Everett Police Department's top brass who've completed the academy, said officer Aaron Snell, department spokesman.

Attendance at the 10-week FBI academy is by invitation only and draws candidates from around the world, Snell said.

Templeman's graduation was a "significant accomplishment," Everett Police Chief Kathy Atwood said.
