Bellingham PhD Elected Vice Chair Of WA Fish-Wildlife Commission

Bradley Smith, a dean emeritus at Western Washington University in Bellingham, has been elected vice chair of the state Fish & Wildlife Commission.

The move follows the recent appointment of an Asotin County man to the commission, removal of a “polarizing” Olympia environmentalist, shifting of another member from an Eastern Washington seat to an at-large position, and a letter from the governor ending the term of a fourth, all this year.
