A family's cautionary tale about drowsy driving

As Drowsy Driving Prevention Week gets underway, one family is raising awareness by sharing an amazing survival story.
Mora Shaw was 18-years-old in 2006 while riding as a passenger in her friend's car, relatives said. The driver was sleep-deprived and fell asleep at the wheel before crashing into trees along Blewett Pass.
Trapped inside the car with severe injuries -- including several broken bones and severe brain trauma -- authorities believed Mora had passed away. But a trauma nurse who just happened to be in the area helped revive Mora, and a helicopter flew her to Harborview Medical Center.
