County Planning Commissioner Melious announces council run

"Whatcom County Planning Commission Chairwoman Jean Melious announced that she will seek the District 1 County Council seat vacated by Bob Kelly.

The 52-year-old Bellingham resident has served on the Planning Commission since 2007, and says she is 'ready to bring some common sense back to the County Council.'"
