Info needed on 2014-15 retirees

Western Washington University staff and faculty members who have retired or will retire during the period between July 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015, will be honored at a reception and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room.

To that end, the Office of the President is collecting information about retirees so that invitations can be sent to them and their supervisors in a timely manner.

By Monday, April 20, the office is requesting:

• Retiree Name
• Retiree Mailing Address
• Retiree Phone Number
• Retirement Date
• Supervisor Name
• College or Division
• Words of Praise

An online form as been created for submitting the information. It is suggested that supervisors gather the requested information and words of praise in advance of submitting the form (see the template attached below). Unfortunately, saving the form in progress and returning to complete it is not an available option.

As the words of praise will be included on the retiree's certificate of recognition and read aloud at the retirement reception, it is asked that they be limited to no more than 100. Words of praise must be uploaded as a Word document to the online form.
