In Red Square Wednesday, make your own reflective zipper pull

The Sustainable Transportation Office and Prevention and Wellness Services at Western Washington University will be in Red Square from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, to answer cycling and walking questions and to help passersby make free reflective zipper pulls.

Coupons will be available (while supplies last) for 10 percent off of the purchase of a bike light at participating bike shops.

The event is part of the ongoing See and Be Seen! campaign to ensure that bikers, riders and walkers are visible to others at night and can see where they're going. For cyclists, using lights is the law! Also, according to law, skateboarders are restricted from skateboarding on city streets.
