Hundreds of new students to visit campus this week

Transitions, Western Washington University’s advising, registration and orientation program for new transfer and postbaccalaureate students, will be held July 25, 26 and 29 on campus.

More than 800 students and 300 family members are currently registered to attend.

Participants register for one of the day-long sessions. The program will feature academic advising and support, class registration, informative workshops, lunch on the Old Main Lawn (weather-permitting) and an extensive information fair for students and families to become more familiar with Western’s services and resources.

Western's New Student Services / Family Outreach office looks forward to welcoming new students and families as they join the Western community.

Summerstart, Western’s advising, registration and orientation program for new first-year students, will be held Aug. 5 to 22.
