Humans vs. Zombies continues through Wednesday

The Humans vs. Zombies game on the Western Washington University campus runs through Wednesday, Oct. 24. Game hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.

The game operates under the same rules as approved by the Student Activities department during the 2011–12 academic year.

In the game, human players fend off the zombie players by launching foam Nerf darts at the zombie players. Humans wear bright orange armbands on the upper arm, and zombies wear orange bands on their foreheads. The use of specific Nerf blaster models has been approved through proper Student Activities channels in conjunction with University Police. These toy blasters are very brightly colored and do not resemble realistic weapons. The game is not allowed to take place inside campus buildings and will be confined to exterior spaces on campus.
