Flags to be lowered through July 25 in memory of Tennessee shooting victims

Pursuant to the Presidential Proclamation honoring the victims of the tragedy in Chattanooga, Tenn., Washington Gov. Jay Inslee has directed that Washington state and U.S. flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff in their memory from Tuesday, July 21, 2015, through Saturday, July 25.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business or sunset on July 25 or first thing Monday morning, July 27.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.
