Flags to be at half-staff Friday in memory of park ranger

In memory of Mount Rainier National Park Ranger Nick Hall, Gov. Chris Gregoire has directed that Washington state and United States flags at all state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Friday, June 29. Hall died last week during a rescue operation on Mount Rainier.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Friday, June 29.

Other government entities, citizens and businesses are encouraged to join this recognition.

A service for Nick Hall is scheduled at 100 a.m. June 29 at the Jackson Visitor Center at Mount Rainier.
