Flags to be at half-staff Feb. 2 in honor of Tacoma soldier killed in Afghanistan

Gov. Chris Gregoire has directed flags at all Washington state agency facilities be lowered to half-staff Thursday, Feb. 2, in memory of U. S. Army Private First Class Neil I. Turner, 21, of Tacoma, who died Jan. 11 in Afghanistan of injuries sustained in a training accident.

Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business Thursday or first thing Friday morning, Feb. 3.
