Find Dwight Clark reward fund up to $27,550

Pledges to the Find Dwight Clark reward fund topped $27,000 this morning. The total amount for the fund, to which people can donate at http://www.wwu.edu/univrelations/findDwight.shtml, is $27,550.

Searches continue for Clark, who went missing early Sunday morning, Sept. 26, after he left a party in the 1000 block of Indian Street near the Western Washington University campus. Clark's friends and family have been in Bellingham since then helping the Bellingham Police Department, the WWU University Police Department and scores of community members search for the 18-year-old.

Clarks friends elsewhere also are working to apprise people of Clark's plight and to raise money for his reward fund. Students at Washington State University in Pullman have been spreading the word throughout campus there, reports The Daily Evergreen. ABC News this morning added its coverage to the major media coverage this story continues to receive.

Anyone with information concerning Dwight Clark's disappearance is asked to please call Detective Gina Crosswhite at (360)778-8835.
