WWU Industrial Design Students to Showcase ‘Upcycled’ Yard and Garden Products in Annual ReMade Exhibition Nov. 6

Western Washington University Industrial Design students will showcase “upcycled” yard and garden products created from post-consumer waste and industrial scrap at the annual ReMade exhibition from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at Ideal: Carefully Curated Goods, 1227 Cornwall Ave., Bellingham.

The event is free and open to the public.

ReMade aims to couple students’ understanding of base-level entrepreneurship with a focus on design sustainability. Students carry their products from initial concept through prototyping and finish the project with a limited production run for sale to the public.

Products showcased will be available for purchase beginning the night of the event until Nov. 20.
