Queer Con Returns to WWU (virtually) on Saturday, April 24

Queer Con 2021 is an international LGBTQIA2S+ student-run convention created to celebrate queer creators, as well as queer and intersectional representation in comics, arts, society, and media.

This year’s convention will be a FREE one-day event held online on Saturday, April 24, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Attendees can find panels and talks discussing everything from queer comics creation, to underrepresented gender representation in science. Special events will include a planetarium show and a queer poetry and prose open mic.  Virtual tabling in the gather.town convention hall will include local non-profits and businesses, independent artists, student creators, and many WWU student clubs looking to stay connected and show their support.
