'Mix It Up' Set for Nov. 8, featuring Sammus

8Mix IT Up: Intersections Between the Arts and Sciences is the 6th annual event focused on celebrating science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) at Western Washington University. Each year has a new theme with a base goal of showing the world that anyone can enjoy STEM and the people who are part of the STEM community are diverse and multifaceted.

Thursday, Nov. 8 - MAC GYM

The Schedule for the Event will be:

5 p.m.: Doors Open & Food will be available

- Participants will have an hour to mingle

- Club tables with demos will be set up

- SEM images will be displayed around the room

6 p.m.: SAMMUS will take the stage

After a few songs, we will have a interview about her path into music and her PhD program

The interview will end with a couple of encore songs.

7 p.m.: The evening will end with liquid nitrogen ice cream and raffle prizes
