International students to guide others around the globe Nov. 20

International students at Western Washington University will guide others around the globe at a special Speed Travel event at the closing of International Education Week.

The event, set for 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, will take place in the Miller Hall Collaborative Space on Western's Bellingham campus.

Attendees will be issued a passport and travel itinerary, which they'll use to advance among various stations. At each stop, an international student will share a game, craft, language lesson or other activity from their country.

Each activity completed will earn a passport stamp; those who fill their passports will be entered in a drawing for a fun travel-related prize.

This event is free and open to the public.
