Gregoire encourages WWU students to embrace 'spirit of innnovation' at commencement

Gov. Christine Gregoire, here shaking hands with MBA recipient David Brown, was the keynote speaker at WWU's morning commencement last Saturday. She pushed the graduates to "have a healthy disregard for the impossible" and to be the leaders of the state's next wave of innovation. The keynotes of the afternnon ceremonies were Trustee, alumnus, and former Secretary of State Ralph Munro and alumnus and former WWU Trustee Kevin Raymond.
