Convocation kicks off school year with awards and a look ahead at institutional goals for 2018-19

Faculty and Staff Opening Convocation was held this morning in the PAC. The annual event included employee awards, the employee breakfast (this year in two shifts because of the ongoing work at the VU) as well as President Sabah Randhawa's address to campus, which focused on the work in the year ahead to meet measurable goals set forth by the Strategic Plan, approved by the Board of Trustees in April, in three key areas: Advancing Inclusive Success, Enhancing Academic Excellence, and Increasing Washington Impact.
