Event tonight to feature Western student's view of the Egyptian uprising

Tonight's Global Gathering event will feature a Western Washington University student's perspective of the Egyptian uprising.

The event, which takes place from 7 to 8 p.m. in College Hall Room 131, is sponsored by the Center for International Studies at WWU.

Student Michael Downey has lived in Palestine and has now returned to WWU after studying in Egypt. The World Policy Journal website features a piece by Michael with interviews of the Muslim Brotherhood leadership and recent developments in Egypt.

Join the CIS as Michael recounts his unique experiences in Egypt and interviews with the Muslim Brotherhood.
