Employee Wellness Program announces exercise offerings for fall quarter
The Western Washington University Employee Wellness Program has announced a spate of offerings available for fall quarter.
What has changed?
- There's a new offering: mat pilates, taught by Western employee Kate Stevenson from the Viking Union.
- The fitness class and a smaller Hatha yoga class are coming to campus from 32nd Street.
- Class locations may be different, so be sure to check the class programs pages on the website.
Complete offerings (click each title for registration info, cost and class description):
- Noon to 1 p.m. MW: Mat Pilates with Kate on Campus
- Noon to 1 p.m. TR: Campus Hatha Yoga with Irene in CV Gym C
- Noon to 1 p.m. MWF: Whole Body Fitness with Laurie (MW) & Becky (F) in CV Gym A
- 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. MW: Evening Iyengar-Style Yoga with Nancy in CV Rm. 60
- Noon to 1 p.m. TR: Fitness Class with Kaylee in CV Gym D
- Noon to 1 p.m. MF: Humanities Hatha Yoga with Irene in HU, 2nd Floor Conference Rm
- Noon to 1 p.m. W: Advanced Cardio Conditioning with Kaylee at Outside locations
- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. F: Latin Dancing with Kyle & Erin in PA 24
Other Wellness Program Information:
- The Faculty & Staff Wellness Program is moving to campus in October. Visit the new office location on the second floor of the Humanities Building.
- The activity calendar shows detailed scheduling information for each class.
- Plenty of other free services are available through the Wellness Program, such as one-on-one wellness consultations with Kaylee Nightingale.
