Employee Language Program to hold showcase, give mini-lectures in Spanish

On May 17, the Department of Modern and Classical Languages, the Minority Employees Council, and Extended Education will hold a symposium to showcase the work that the WWU Employee Language student-facilitators have been doing.

Other campus groups related to outreach and diversity will also be present to explain what their groups have accomplished. Attendees are invited to view posters, talk about the diversity of Western’s Campus, try a mini-Spanish workshop and enjoy some refreshments.

A big thank you to the Minority Employee Council for providing refreshments for this event.

The events will begin at 1 p.m. in the Miller Hall Collaborative Space with an overview of the WWU Employee Language Program followed by a showcase including poster presentations and mini-conversation workshops.
