EESP vice provost candidate interviews will be available live online

Four candidates for the position of Vice Provost for Extended Education and Summer Programs will be on campus this month, and the Western Washington University community is invited to view their interview forums in person or live on the university's Elluminate site.

The times and dates for the university forums, all of which are located in SL 140, are as follows:

  • 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10: Keith Smith, vice provost at Kaplan University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
  • 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13: Catherine Koverola, vice president of Academic Affairs and dean of faculty, interim, at Antioch University Seattle.
  • 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18: Mark Pagano, dean of University Continuing Education and Conferences at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
  • 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24: Earl Gibbons, vice provost and associate vice president at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Virtual participants will be able to ask questions of the candidates using the live chat function in Elluminate or by e-mailing questions ahead of time to Marlene Harlan at marlene.harlan@wwu.edu.

It is highly recommended that users log in to Elluminate 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to ensure that each connection is working properly.
