Display cases offer high-traffic viewing for campus groups

The Western Libraries at Western Washington University has eight display cases on the second floor of the Wilson and Haggard wings available for use by WWU departments, student groups and individuals associated with the university.

The cases offer a special way of highlighting special programs, student work and interesting topics that staff, faculty or students would like to share with the university community. The proximity of the three Library service desks, the Learning Commons partners and Zoe’s Bookside Bagels places all of the display cases in high-traffic areas. The Western Libraries attracted approximately one million visitors during the past academic year.

The current display cases can be viewed from the Libraries’ home page.

The policy and criteria for exhibits and the online application for use of a case can also be found on the website. Library staffers are available to meet with people to look at and discuss the use of the display cases. There are openings in the schedule as early as November, and it's not too early to reserve a case for 2013.
