Discussion to focus on campus reactions to tragic events

The Associated Students Productions Civil Controversy will host a discussion titled “When Tragedy Strikes: How campus reacts to tragic events” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 10, in Viking Union Room 567.

This event is free and open to the Western campus community.

The discussion will cover how the campus reacts to tragedies, such as the death of Dwight Clark. Participants will have the opportunity to share how they handle such trying circumstances, how the community copes and its members voice their thoughts about how the student population, student government and administration handle tragedies.

For more information about the event, or for disAbility accommodations, contact Daniel Hagen by phone at (360) 650-2526 or by e-mail at asp.civil.controversy@wwu.edu.
