Dialogue groups aimed at making Western a better place to learn start Oct. 9 and 10

The Teaching-Learning Academy dialogue groups, the goal of which is to enhance the learning environment at Western Washington University. begin on Oct. 9 and 10 and meet every other week for a total of five sessions a quarter. They’re open to everyone, and since the fall TLA collectively determines the BIG question to study for the year, participating this quarter means you get to influence that decision.

To accommodate everyone’s busy schedules, the TLA offers four dialogue group options, and participants are welcome to attend the same one or dip into others. TLA meets Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1:20 p.m. and from 2 to 3:20 p.m., all in the Libraries Learning Commons (Wilson 2 West). Faculty and staff are welcome to stay as long as their schedules permit.

To sign up and get on the list serve, just email tla@wwu.edu with your preferred day and time. For more information, see http://www.library.wwu.edu/tla.

Come meet faculty, staff, and students from across campus as well as some of your Bellingham neighbors and help make Western an even better place to teach and learn.
