Upcoming speakers to tackle topic of global migration

The public is invited to an upcoming series of presentations and discussions on critical policy issues associated with immigration. The presentations are scheduled as part of the Western Washington University course "Global Migration," Anthropology 475.

The next speaker in this "Critical Issues in an Age of Global Migration" series is Hannah Stone, a Bellingham immigration attorney, who will give a lecture titled "Immigration Reform:  From Hyperbole to Reality" from 8:30 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, in Communications Facility Room 224.

Margaret Orellana Faulstich, a professor in the Graduate School of Education at UCLA, will present "Multiculturalism as Human Experience: Valuing Children amid Immigration Debates" at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, also in Communications Facility Room 224.
