Reminder: Dependents need verification for continued health-care coverage

The deadline is Nov. 30 for sending dependent verification documents to the Public Employees Benefits Board.

For more information about this requirement, read the Dependents Eligibility Verification document on the benefits Web site. PEBB  started sending letters to subscribers on Oct. 5 informing them about the status of their dependent verification documents.

Each Tuesday through Nov. 30, PEBB will mail letters to subscribers whose documents were processed during the previous week. These letters will inform subscribers about the status of each dependent's verification, including whether the documentation they provided was successful in proving their dependents' eligibility or whether PEBB requires more information from them.

Subscribers should read their follow-up letter carefully; many of the letters require further action on their part.
