Combined Fund Drive campaign just $5,000 short of goal

The 2013 Combined Fund Drive at Western Washington University goes through the end of December at Western Washington University.

As of Nov. 12, WWU faculty and staff had donated $62,373 of the $67,000 goal.

A few of last year’s highlights:

  • Exceeded Western's goal of $60,000 by pledging $76,053 (a 31-percent increase from the previous year)
  • Employee participation increased from 12 percent to 15 percent (the highest it has ever been)

Given the total number of WWU employees, if every employee gave $2 per month, the drive could raise more than $52,000 per year. Click here to see the impact you can make by donating just $2 per month.

If we can do so much with $2 per month, imagine the impact we can make with just $5 per month!

Why donate through the CFD?

  • It’s automatic through a payroll deduction so you don’t have to remember to do it, and you don’t have to write and mail the check.
  • You get a year-end summary for tax return preparation.
  • You can set up your pledge to be monthly on-going, for a limited period or a recurring limited-time, or one-time.
  • You can pick from hundreds of charities.

Let’s exceed our new goal of $67,000 and show both our local and extended communities that “Western Gives” by signing up to make a pledge, or expand your current pledge.

Please consider joining the Western “I GIVE” family and start donating today!
