"Collective Structure" Exhibition to Run Through May 15 at WWU's B-Gallery

Collective Structure, an exhibition featuring work by 18 advanced level students working in drawing and painting media, will take place at Western Washington University’s B-Gallery from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, May 15.

The closing reception will take place from 4:30-7 p.m. on May 15; the B-Gallery is free and open to the public.

The artists investigated a variety of forms that tell a range of narratives involving immersive colorscapes, the figure, and built environments. Ranging from intimate works on paper to large-scale confrontational canvases, this collaboration creates a unique, complex network of perspectives.

The featured artists include Morocco Al-tamimi, Emily Barrett, Byron Broadhead, Jessica Butler, Robert Colvin, Scott Edwards, Jasmine Escalante, Melissa Hand, Christine Henie, Elizabeth Herr, Shannon Horstman, Hayley Magnuson, Kameron Peck, Hannah Raper, Johanna Ruhsenberger, Annalise Theisen, Madeline Thunder, and Brooke Welsh.
