Central Health and Safety Committee working to keep Western safe

The Central Health and Safety Committee at Western Washington University reminds the campus community of options that are available when they feel there is an unsafe or unhealthy situation on campus.

Concerns related to safety, health or compliance can be brought to supervisors or to the Environmental Health and Safety office. Many may not be aware, though, of the CHSC and its role in keeping the Western community healthy and safe.

The committee is charged with monitoring campus safety and health issues and recommending action to resolve them. The community's concerns can be shared with a committee member who can then bring it to the committee for discussion. Members of the committee can be found throughout campus. Members' contact information can be found here

Additional information is available on the CHSC web page and in the Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Policy.
