CBE info fair about student clubs is Sept. 29

Investigate the Professional Readiness Program at the CBE Student Club Fair on Thursday September 29th!

Students interested in learning more about the Pilot Professional Readiness Program or student club opportunities at Western’s College of Business and Economics are invited to attend the second-annual CBE Student Club Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29. The event will be held on the bricks area outside the first floor level of Parks Hall (Haskell Plaza). In the event of rain, the event will be held inside Parks Hall.

The event is organized by the College of Business and Economics and is open to all Western students. Admission is free. Snacks and small giveaway items will be available. Also, there will be a raffle prize.

The CBE Student Club Fair offers students a chance to meet with student club officers in an informal setting. In addition to learning about professional development, networking and leadership opportunities available associated with the Professional Readiness Program, students can learn about the different business and economics concentration/major areas available in the College of Business and Economics.

CBE has student clubs covering a wide variety of business disciplines. Student clubs and organizations that are expected to participate in the CBE Student Club Fair include: Alpha Kappa Psi, American Production Inventory Control Society (APICS), Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Society, Collegiate DECA, Economics Association, Financial Management Association, International Business, Management Information Systems Association, Northwest Human Resource Management Association (NHRMA), Net Impact, the Student Marketing Association, and more. A representative from WWU’s Career Services Center’s will also attend.
