Candidates for EESP vice provost to visit campus this month

Western Washington University Provost Catherine Riordan has announced that the Vice Provost for Extended Education and Summer Programs Search Committee has concluded its review and evaluation of applications and has selected four strongly qualified finalists to invite to campus for interviews.

Information about the finalists is listed below, along with the schedule for the forums open to the campus community. The finalists’ curriculum vitae are available for review by contacting Bev Jones, assistant to the provost. Provost Riordan encourages active participation by the campus community in this important recruitment effort.

Keith Smith, vice provost at Kaplan University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., will be on the WWU campus Jan. 10 and 11. A university-wide forum presentation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, in Science Lecture Hall Room 140.

Catherine Koverola, vice president of academic affairs and dean of faculty, interim, at Antioch University Seattle, will be on campus Jan. 13 and 14. A university-wide forum presentation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, in SL Room 140.

Mark Pagano, dean of University Continuing Education and Conferences at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., will be on campus Jan. 18 and 19. A university-wide forum presentation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, in SL Room 140.

Earl Gibbons, vice provost and associate vice president at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas, will be on campus Jan. 24 and 25. A university-wide forum presentation is scheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, Jan. 24, in SL Room 140.
