Candidates for ADMCS director to be on campus Jan. 13 and 16

Two candidates for the open position of director of Administrative Computing Services will be on campus next week for open forums. Each candidate will present on the main campus and at 32nd Street.

The two candidates are:

Max Ahmad, Tuesday, Jan. 13

Max has experience most recently as Assistant Vice President for Administration & Finance Information Systems Management at Texas Tech University. Before Texas, he was at the Oregon State University System office.

Presentations:

  • 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. in AC213 at 32nd Street. It's possible that this venue will be standing-room-only.

  • 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. in Haggard Hall 253.

Janice Kijak, Friday, Jan. 16

Janice has experience at Kenyon College, working her way from an information systems analyst to director of Enterprise Systems. Before Kenyon, she was at Pacific Union College.

Presentations:

  • 8:30 to 9:20 a.m. in AC213 at 32nd Street. It's possible that this venue will be standing-room-only.
  • 10:30 to 11:20 a.m. in Old Main 330C.

The 50-minute forums, although casual, will generally follow this format:

  • (10 minutes) The candidate will share a bit about himself or herself: background, work history, etc.
  • (10 to 15 minutes) Presentation on “ERPs in the Cloud: Advantages/Disadvantages”
  • (remaining time) Discussion with the audience, Q&A
